The Immortal Few |
I think about it now and then, rolls over my mind like a saw toothed comb, over the last of my common sense and down to my soul. Remember when we were young, running down to that line just to have some fun. Trying to escape from those dull-drums of a small town life. Boy how we flew, we flew into the dark of the night. We the immortal few, on till the break of dawn, on till the break of dawn. I guess I never did understand, if we were part a scene or some part of a plan, or just a rebel, juvenile band loose on our own. You said, "Bill let's just do it again, one more time for the sake of a friend." Well we can never go back there again, not in this world. Boy how we flew, we flew into the dark of the night. We the immortal few, on till the break of dawn, on till the break of dawn. We can never go back again, well we can never go back again. We can never go back again, well we can never go back there again. We can never go back again. |
